About the FOUNDER

Hi, my name is Sasha Paul, and I'm the founder and CEO of Mauya! My journey began with a promising corporate career in a Big-Four Accounting firm, where I worked hard to earn my CPA qualification. But my life took an unexpected turn through a very personal loss in 2021, which led me to rediscover art as a powerful source of healing and transformation. Creativity became my sanctuary, allowing me to express and process emotions that words just couldn’t capture.

Now, as the owner of Mauya, I'm on a mission to share this transformative experience with others. Mauya is a safe space where art meets wellness and community, empowering people to find peace, purpose, and connection through creativity. Our team is growing steadily and we're so excited to continue holding space and reaching more communities across Nova Scotia and Canada!
