This Pretoria-born producer is one of the architects of the Amapiano sound, with hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. He's played Johannesburg, London, and Dubai, but he's never played in Atlantic Canada. Until now.
So what is a shisanyama?
Shisanyama refers to the beloved tradition of gathering around a braai (BBQ), and this is a common weekend practice in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, and most countries in Southern Africa. A shisanyama is all about community, music, and nonstop good energy throughout the day. It's a non-judgemental, relaxed place where everyone is welcome, and that’s exactly the experience we’re recreating this year, with a few additional twists!
